Slavia Praha 2-2 Valencia

Valencia dropped two vital points away to ten-man Slavia having been 2-0 up. A Joaquín penalty on 22 minutes appeared to have sent Valencia on their way and when Hedwiges Maduro made it 2-0 it seemed to be over.
Valencia's night looked that bit easier when Zdenek Senkerík was sent-off for a 2nd yellow and that was where the trouble started. Eleven minutes remaining Slavia pulled one back through Petr Janda. Three minutes later Slavia were level thanks to Peter Grajciar. Slavia held out for a point which still leaves them bottom but with a chance.
