A narrow victory for the visitors meant they kept up their challenge for a European place. Deportivo are doing well so far and this was another victory secured. Alberto Lopo socred the only goal of the game on 76 minutes as Racing Santander fall into the relegation zone. Deportivo after this result remain 5th but level with 4th placed Valencia.
