Barcelona stayed top after overcoming Real Mallorca 4-2 at the Camp Nou. Academy graduate Pedro opened the scoring on 11 minutes before Mallorca found an equilizer through Nunes on 20 minutes.
Pedro got his 2nd of the night to ensure Barcelona were leading at the break. Thierry Henry then made it 3-1 just before the whistle. With three minutes left in the 2nd half Lionel Messi made it 4-1 from the spot before Mallorca pulled another back through Alhassane Keita in added time.
