3rd Placed Sevilla lost ground on the big two after bottom side Málaga showed fighting spirit to earn a point. But the bottom side should've had all three.
Miguel opened the scoring for the visitors on 23 minutes to silence the home crowd. Patrick Mtiliga then made it 2-0 just before half-time as Sevilla went into the break stunned.
But not to be undone Luís Fabiano pulled a goal back for the hosts on 58 minutes. The Brazilian was on hand to level matter on 73 minutes as Sevilla battled to save a point but will be disappointed after this result.
