La Liga Preview 7th November

Tonight sees the Madrid derby take centre stage as both Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid clash at the Estádio Vicente Calderón. There are three other games on Saturday and all key games.

Getafe v Deportivo: 18:00:
With Getafe 11th and Deportivo in 6th seperated by four points it is a game that will have a bearing on the league table come Sunday night. A win for Deportivo could see them go into 3rd for tonight at least. However a win for the hosts will see them go into 7th.

Tenerife v Málaga: 18:00:
Having been beaten 5-0 by Villarreal last week, Tenerife will be looking to bounce back with a win over bottom side Málaga. Tenerife are 16th going into the game and need three points to move further clear. Málaga bottom need points just to get back into contention of avoiding the drop.

Barcelona v Real Mallorca: 20:00:
Leaders by just a point from Real Madrid, Barcelona have an oppertunity to go four points clear before Real kick a ball tonight with a win over high-flying Real Mallorca. Barcelona won this fixture 3-1 last season and a repeat would do the trick nicely. Their opponents can go 3rd if they can find a win tonight.

Atlético Madrid v Real Madrid: 22:00:
Atlético Madrid have an awful record at home in the last ten years against Real and will be looking to put it right tonight. Having exited the Champions League in midweek Atlético will be looking to give new boss Quique Sánchez Flores his first win as Atlético boss against their arch-rivals. Real Madrid buoyed by a good performance against AC Milan will be up for the game and try and keep pace with Barcelona.
