A remarkable Cristiano Ronaldo free-kick set Real on their way. Lucho González levelled before Raúl Albiol put Real back in front.
Lucho González missed a penalty before Ronaldo got his 2nd of the game to finish off Marseille.
Barcelona:
Barcelona travelled east to Dynamo Kiyv and got the result they came for. It was Dynamo Kiyv who struck first with Artem Milevskiy heading one a Shevchenko free kick. Xavi levelled for Barcelona before the break. Both sides had freezing conditions to attend to and Lionel Messi scored the winner as Barcelona progress.
